Key for removing impurities in silica sand flotation

After magnetic separation, the impurities of silica sand have been removed mostly, but some of them can not be removed by magnetic separation. Flotation (Flotation machine)is the most important step to remove impurities after magnetic separation. If the impurities of silica sand are not cleaned up, the role of silica sand will be greatly reduced.

1. When feldspar is abundant in silica sand, PH of pulp is adjusted to 7-8 using fatty acid as collector. After flotation of iron-bearing materials, feldspar is flotated with hydrofluoric acid and amine. Finally, when the pulp PH is 7-8, ammonia is used as collector to flotation silica.
2. Pulp PH was adjusted to 7-8 and sulfonated petroleum was used for flotation of iron ore.
3. Use amine as collector, mix flotation silica and feldspar, add hydrofluoric acid and amine to flotation feldspar when mix concentrate separates, tailings are silica concentrate.
4. Feldspar and silica inclusion flotation is carried out after flotation of iron ore. It is suitable for silica sand with high iron content.
5. According to the sequence of floated iron ore, mica and feldspar. Sulfonated petroleum-amine-amine is the next collector to be used.
6. Iron ore is first floated and then pumice feldspar. The tailings are silica concentrates. It is suitable for silica sand with low mica content.

7. The tailings obtained are silica concentrates only when iron ore is floated. The tailings are silica after flotation of iron-bearing minerals by using Toll oil as collector and adjusting PH to 8-9 with sodium carbonate.
